“Cookies” – small text files that a web browser stores on the User’s device when visiting the Platform. They allow Us to save technical settings, remember the User’s choices, and collect aggregated statistics of interaction with the Platform.
“Company” – REMED PL SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ, a legal entity registered in Poland, with its registered office at UL. WŁADYSŁAWA ŁOKIETKA 5, 87-100, TORUŃ district, KUJAWSKO-POMORSKIE voivodeship, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 8792769707, Statistical Number (REGON): 54251414000000, registered in the National Court Register (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy) under No. 0001189909 of August 21, 2025 (hereinafter – the “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).
“Platform” – an e-commerce platform owned and operated by the Company, accessible via the Internet at remedcare.pl and/or remedpl.com (or any other URL specified by the Seller), through which Users can browse Product listings, place Orders, and pay for Products. The Platform includes all pages, features, functionalities, databases, and services provided by the Company.
“User” – a person who visits and/or uses the Platform, regarding whom their Personal Data is processed, including visitors and Users of the Platform (“User”, “You”, “Your”).
“Personal Data” – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, processed by the Company in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Privacy Policy (“Personal Data”, “Data”).
“Consent” – any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the User’s wishes, by which they confirm their Consent to Our use of Cookies through a clear affirmative action on their part.
Terms and definitions not defined in this Section 1 of the Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the meaning established by the applicable legislation of the Republic of Poland, or, in the absence thereof, in their ordinary meaning.
2. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data (text files) or parts of program code that contain a unique User identifier and information about how You use the Platform. Cookies are transmitted via the server and stored on Your device when You visit and/or use the Platform.
We use Cookies to improve the efficiency of the Platform’s operation and to distinguish Users from one another. Cookies may be stored until You close the web browser/mobile application (“session” Cookies) or for the purpose of repeated visits (“persistent” Cookies). “Persistent” Cookies remain on the User’s device for a specified period indicated in the Cookie. They are activated each time the User visits the Platform.
Cookies may also be used to collect anonymous statistics about the experience of visiting the Platform. The data collected is not personally identifiable and is limited to the minimal information necessary to optimize the Platform’s performance.

4. Types of Cookies We Collect and Their Purposes
We use both first-party Cookies, set by the Platform’s domain, and third-party Cookies / SDKs from Our providers (analytics, security, payments, etc.). Cookies can be session-based (active until the browser/web session is closed) or persistent (stored for a defined period). In mobile applications, similar technologies may be used instead of Cookies (local app storage, device/session identifiers, push tokens) for the same purposes described below.
Strictly Necessary Cookies – are required for the Platform to function and for the use of its features, including security-related functions. Without these Cookies, proper operation of the Platform cannot be ensured. They allow the User to freely use the Platform and access its various functions.
Functional Cookies – allow the Platform to remember information about Users’ previous settings to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. Such information may include language settings, text size, region, browser type used to access the Platform, etc. To improve the user experience after visiting the Platform, these Cookies remember the information provided by the User, enhancing the efficiency of interaction with the Platform. The information collected by these Cookies usually does not directly identify You but may become Personal Data when combined with other data, and does not allow tracking of browsing on websites other than the Platform.
Analytical / Statistical Cookies – help to understand how the Platform is used: they measure visits, traffic sources, events (page views, clicks, interface errors), and aggregated performance. Marketing / Advertising Cookies – are used to show more relevant messages, control the frequency of impressions, and measure campaign effectiveness.

5. Purposes of Collecting Cookies
Strictly necessary Cookies are processed without obtaining separate User Consent, as they are technically required for the proper functioning of the Platform and for providing services explicitly requested by the User. Such Cookies are applied in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), and they also fall under the exception provided by the ePrivacy legislation.

7. Third-Party Cookies
The Platform may contain active links to websites and online resources that are not administered or controlled by the Company. When accessing such links, the processing of Personal Data, including the use of Cookies or similar technologies, is carried out by the respective third parties in accordance with their own privacy and Cookie policies. This Policy does not apply to the processing of Data by such third parties, and the Company is not responsible for their privacy practices, content, or the operation of the respective websites. The Company does not have access to third-party Cookies and does not control their use.
The Platform may also include embedded social media icons (e.g., Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, LinkedIn), which serve as links to the respective platforms owned by third parties. When a User interacts with such icons (for example, by clicking a link or sharing content), the respective social media operators may process the User’s Data, including information about their online activity, in accordance with their own terms of use and privacy policies.
The Company does not control the extent or manner of such Data processing by third parties and recommends that Users review the terms of use, privacy policies, and Cookie policies of the respective websites and social media platforms to obtain information on how Data is processed, as well as the available mechanisms for managing, restricting, or deleting such Data.

We may periodically update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in legislation, technical solutions, or methods of using Cookies on the Platform. The current version of the Policy is always available on the Platform with the effective date indicated.
In the case of non-material changes (such as editorial corrections or clarifications that do not affect the Cookie categories, purposes of use, or legal grounds for processing), the updated version of the Policy comes into effect from the date of its publication on the Platform.
In the case of material changes that may affect Your rights or the conditions of Data processing (including the introduction of new Cookie categories, new providers, new processing purposes, or changes in legal grounds), We:
